Barnes & Thornburg has added Fred Schwartz as a partner in its labor and employment department in Chicago. Anthony Glenn has joined Barnes & Thornburg as an associate in the labor and employment law department in Indianapolis.

Eli K. Best has joined Fredrikson & Byron in Minneapolis as an associate in the employment and labor group.

Sydney Koch has joined Honigman Miller Schwartz and Cohn as an associate in Detroit. She assists clients with employment-based immigration matters.

Littler Mendelson , a management-side labor and employment law firm, has added Anthony Romano as a shareholder in Kansas City, Mo.

David W. Schelberg has joined the Detroit office of McDonald Hopkins as an associate in the labor and employment practice group.

Ryan W. Jaziri and Jeffrey S. McAllister have joined management-side labor and employment law firm Morgan, Brown & Joy as associates in Boston.

Litigator Michael Henthorne has joined management-side labor and employment law firm Ogletree, Deakins, Nash, Smoak & Stewart as a shareholder in Columbia, S.C.

Employee benefits lawyer Melanie K. Curtice has joined Perkins Coie as a partner in Seattle.

Peter Asaad has joined Quarles & Brady as a partner in Washington. He will concentrate on immigration law in the firm’s labor and employment practice group.

Schwartz Simon Edelstein & Celso in Whippany, N.J., has added Saiju George as an associate in its human resource compliance practice.

Bonita L. Hatchett has joined Strasburger & Price as a partner in Houston. She will practice with the employee benefits, executive compensation, pension and employee retirement practice groups, while also supporting the tax and labor and employment groups.

Ulmer & Berne has welcomed Trevor J. Hardy and Adam R. Watowicz as associates in its Cleveland office. Hardy focuses his practice on employment and labor litigation and complex business litigation. Watowicz concentrates on employee benefits and executive compensation.
