Managing Partner in the Hanoi office of Vilaf, Dang Duong Anh is one of the most reliable and result-oriented Vietnamese lawyers. Mr. Dang Duong’s broad experience covers foreign direct investment, corporate and M&A, tax, energy projects, real estate, mining, automobile and telecommunications.

Anh’s highlighted transactions include the acquisition of 85% share capital in Prime Group by Siam Cement Group, valued at about US$240 million (including debts), the acquisition of 91.75% share capital in Hanacans by Showa Aluminum Corporation, valued at about US$110 million (including debts), the development of Vinh Tan 1 BOT Power Project, the financing of Phu My 3 BOT Power Plant, Thu Duc BOT water project and recently Ban Phuc Nickel Mining project, the development of a large telecommunications project in Hanoi and a proposed power project in Soc Trang, the acquisition of a large automobile manufacturer in Hanoi, and a number of M&As and mining, automobile, telecom and petroleum projects. Prior to joining Vilaf in 2003, Mr. Dang Duong spent more than six years as an Associate with Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer in Hanoi. He began his career with Chor & Pee Co.
