A Partner with M&M Bomchil Abogados in Buenos Aires, Argentina, Ariadna Artopoulos has practiced in the Tax Department of the firm since 1997. Ms. Artopoulos’ practice focuses mainly in administrative litigation related to taxes and defending clients against claims by national, provincial, and/or municipal tax authorities, both before Court and administrative agencies. Ms. Artopoulos advises on national, provincial, and local taxes as well as regarding agreements to avoid double international taxation. Ms. Artopoulos has more than sixteen years of experience in tax matters. From 1991 to 1995 she worked for the tax department of the national tax authority. She graduated with honors from Universidad de Buenos Aires in 1996 and attended a training program at Escuela de Abogacía de Buenos Aires. She obtained the degree of Specialist in Tax Law from Universidad Austral in 2001. In addition, Ms. Artopoulos serves as professor of Principles of Tax Law at Universidad Austral. She has recently lectured at courses organized by IDEA and Universidad Austral. She is also a member of Asociación Argentina de Estudios Fiscale.
