Big Conference for the Medical Research Common Rule Coming Up

In a week or so, I’ll be on my way to San Antonio to cover the nation’s biggest annual research ethics conference, organized by Public Responsibility in Medicine & Research.

It’s been at least a decade (uhhh ... wut?) of consecutive coverage of this conference.

Anyway, this year’s conference will be especially significant since it’s the first advancing ethical research conference since the revised Common Rule came out. Last year, there were these blank rooms for “last-minute hot topics.” Let’s just say those rooms were empty.

This year, the hot topics are piling up! There are three concurrent sessions, all of which are important and all of which have really top speakers.
