Mr. Bork is a partner in the Boston office of Foley Hoag LLP.  His wide-ranging corporate practice includes matters that center on securities, governance, reorganization and dispute resolution. He represents a diverse group of publicly and privately held clients, including sophisticated developers, manufacturers (including those in traditional "smokestack" industries), high technology companies, restaurant operators, and both investment bankers and institutional investors. These and other clients turn to Paul for guidance on issuing debt and equity securities, making initial and subsequent public offerings, and facilitating a variety of business combinations (including going private transactions). His work also includes advising debtors and creditors in corporate reorganizations under the Bankruptcy Code.  He received his B.E. from The Cooper Union and his J.D. from the Columbia Law School.  He is a member of the New York and Massachusetts Bars.

It discusses how to prepare an initial public offering, the internal "bootcamp" steps an issuer must take beforehand to ensure a successful offering, negotiating the terms of the offering, the potential liabilities involved with an IPO, and alternative financing options that are available for small businesses.
