Aug. 10—The State Administration of Work Safety will blacklist employers “with records of major work safety accidents or with more than 10 deaths within one year, or those which have attempted to conceal their safety record, or that have failed to improve conditions after rectification orders,” the Chinese government news service Xinhua reported Aug. 10.

In addition, a noncompliant employer will have its worker safety permit suspended or revoked and its expansion limited.

SAWS will post quarterly lists of noncompliant employers and conduct random checks at least semiannually.
