Dawn Radcliffe, Legal Operations Manager, TransCanada Pipelines Limited

Ms. Dawn Radcliffe manages technology programs and resources, and develops strategic technology roadmaps, in particular for those systems and processes dedicated to the law department (e.g., discovery, legal hold, matter management, e-billing, document management, etc.) for TransCanada Pipelines.  She is also responsible for monitoring the legal function workflow and identifying opportunities to enhance department productivity in order to improve operational effectiveness in the delivery of legal services to the enterprise.  She serves a liaison with the corporate IT department regarding technical support of the law department and integration of the law department’s processes with companywide systems and initiatives.

Brent Holmes, eDiscovery Program Director, Siemens Corporation

Mr. Brent Holmes is the eDiscovery Program Director for Siemens Corporation.  Mr. Holmes oversaw implementation of Siemens’ eDiscovery Program.  He is responsible for oversight of the tools, processes and vendors that make up the program.  The Siemens US eDiscovery team is made up of attorneys, paralegals, eDiscovery specialists and information security analysts from across Siemens’ divisions.  Prior to joining the US litigation team, Mr. Holmes was an IT Architect with Siemens Healthcare, focusing on enterprise & systems architecture and project management.  Mr. Holmes holds his B.A. in Information Systems, is a PMI-PMP certified project manager and is CEDS certified. 


Hal Marcus, Esq., Director of Product Marketing, Recommind

Mr. Hal Marcus is the Director of Product Marketing for Recommind, a Gartner Magic Quadrant eDiscovery Leader year after year.  After receiving his J.D. from the University of Michigan Law School, Mr. Marcus practiced IP and antitrust litigation at an AmLaw 100 Wall Street firm before embarking on a career in legal technology starting with LexisNexis.  As GC and EVP of Business Development for LiveNote Technologies, he led sales, marketing and legal strategy, helping LiveNote become the #1 most widely used litigation technology by the AmLaw 200 five years in a row.  Upon LiveNote’s successful acquisition by Thomson Reuters, Mr. Marcus served as VP of Litigation Product Management for the parent company, designing and launching new product lines for evidence and case management.  Later, he worked on a wide range of eDiscovery matters as a litigation consultant prior to joining the product marketing team at Recommind.  An active industry writer and speaker, Mr. Marcus has presented hundreds of CLE seminars, been interviewed in Forbes, Fortune, and Bloomberg BNA, and seen his work published by the likes of Corporate Counsel Magazine, ILTA, and the ABA Litigation Section.
