Mr. Fortney's OFCCP practice includes representing and counseling federal contractors nationwide on complying with contractors’ nondiscrimination and affirmative action obligations. Mr. Fortney regularly advises and represents clients facing audits by OFCCP, including OFCCP's compensation audits, desk audits, on-site reviews, audits of Functional Affirmative Action Programs, and preaward compliance evaluations. Additionally, Mr. Fortney regularly represents and advises the leading employer trade associations in addressing OFCCP's new regulations and enforced initiatives. Mr. Fortney also is a co-founder of The Institute for Workplace Equality, which is a national nonprofit employer association that trains and educates federal contractors in understanding and complying with their affirmative action and equal employment opportunity obligations.
