Daniel Dong-Keon Lee has spent the last 24 years at Samil PricewaterhouseCoopers where he is currently a tax function leader in risk management and knowledge management. Mr. Lee was responsible for the international tax service team and the tax industry leader in Infocomm and Bio, Pharmaceutical and Healthcare industries. Prior to joining Samil, Mr. Lee spent 5 years at Seihwa Accounting Corporation (legacy Price Waterhouse). He gained additional experience at Coopers & Lybrand in Hong Kong from 1994 to 1996.
Mr. Lee has been involved in tax services for numerous multi-national corporations, including: Baker & McKenzie, Siemens, Merial, Purina, Pfizer, Bayer, Bayer Cropscience, Boehringer Ingelheim, Roche, Johnson & Johnson, Carestream Health, Daewoong Pharma, SK Chemical, LG Group companies, Yahoo!, Overture, Schott Glass, AT&T Korea, Alcatel Lucent, British Telecom, Nokia, ChipPAC, Alcan, and POSCO. He has practiced tax due diligence and tax structuring for Diageo, InBev (Jinro), Siemens, Alcoa, Daewoo Telecom, Midopa, Engelhard, and Flag Telecom, among others.
Daniel is a member of KICPA and has been appointed as a writer for the KICPA qualification examinations. He is a current member of the Corporate Tax Compliance Review Committee in the KICPA and a member of Korean Academic Society of Taxation. He has been a professional advisor in various governmental organization. He is currently an adjunct professor in Dongkuk University.
