Mr. Shillingburg is admitted to practice in New Jersey, New York, and the District of Columbia. Prior to establishing his solo practice in 1997, he was counsel to Morgan, Lewis & Bockius, in New York, where he specialized in executive compensation, employee benefit and exempt organization matters. He has also headed the ERISA practice group of Lord Day &Lord, Barrett Smith, in New York, where he specialized in executive compensation and employee benefits, and was principal tax member of the Exempt Organizations Practice Group.
     Mr. Shillingburg also was an Attorney, Appellate Section, Tax Division at the U.S. Department of Justice from 1963-1968 and as a Special Assistant to the Assistant Attorney, Tax Division from 1968-1969.
