Kathryn Fenton is a Partner in the Washington, D.C., office of Jones Day, where she represents clients in a broad range of industries, advising on merger reviews, defending government investigations, and counseling on complex business transactions.

Ms. Fenton served as chair of the American Bar Association Section of Antitrust Law. She previously served the Antitrust Section as committee officer, secretary, publications officer, council member, and editorial chair of the Antitrust Law Journal. She is a Fellow of the American Bar Foundation and is a member of the District of Columbia Bar Association, where she has served as a member and chair of the Rules of Professional Conduct Review Committee and of the Legal Ethics Committee. She is a frequent lecturer and author on antitrust and competition issues.

She served as an Attorney-Advisor to Federal Trade Commission Chairman James C. Miller III and clerked for the Honorable Oliver Gasch of the U.S. District Court for the District of Columbia.

Ms. Fenton earned her B.A., summa cum laude, from Fairfield University and her J.D., cum laude, from Georgetown University.

Ms. Fenton is a co-author of the Bloomberg BNA Health Law & Business Portfolio Series No. 2500, Health Care Networks and Managed Care: Antitrust Aspects of Integration and Exclusion.
