Finding & Selecting Sources


You are able to select sources on search pages by either entering the name into the Select Sources search field, or drilling down into theContent Type list.

Example: Search all SDNY opinions and secondary sources simultaneously

  1. From the Bloomberg Law Menu, select Search & Browse, and click All Legal Content.
  2. Add a Source using the Source Tree: In the Select Sources location, scroll down to U.S. Secondary Sources and click the title. 
    *For more specific source, click the + sign.
  3. Adding a Source using auto-complete: In the Select Sources field, type SDNY and the autocomplete functionality returns a list of matching entries.
  4. Select U.S. District Court for the Southern District of New York Opinions.
  5. Click Search.
