Fred Tuthill is a shareholder in Winstead's Taxation, Employee Benefits & Private Business practices in Houston Texas. His representative experience includes: corporate and partnership federal income tax issues and planning; oil and gas tax issues; federal and state tax litigation; texas sales, franchise and ad valorem taxes; tax-oriented partnership structuring and planning; tax-oriented corporate acquisition, separation and reorganization; IRS audit and administrative appeals; general business planning. 
     Mr. Tuthill is board certified in Tax Law by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization. From 2007-2016 he has been named one of the Best Lawyers in America by Woodward/White, Inc. He is a member of the State Bar of Texas, the District of Columbia Bar, the Houston Tax Round Table, and is a Texas Certified Public Accountant.  
     Prior to joining Winstead in 1999, Mr. Tuthill was a Managing Partner with Butler Binion for more than 22 years.
