German Campos

Germán Campos is a partner at PwC Chile with 29 years of experience.  Before PwC, he was an assistant in the internal audit department at Banco BHIF (currently BBVA).  His principal areas of expertise lie in M&A tax analysis and  modelling of tax variables into economic models, specifically corporate income tax, withholding tax, and VAT.  He advises on inbound tax structures for foreign investors and outbound taxes to Chilean companies, as well as exit strategies for income and other indirect taxes.
His knowledge extends to an analysis of tax accounting issues, Fin 48 analysis of risks,  NIC 12,  and tax ramifications to Chilean corporate reorganization.

Germán Campos is a professor at Universidad de Chile, Pontificia, Universidad Católica de Chile, and Universidad de Santiago de Chile.  He is a member of Instituto de Derecho Tributario and International Fiscal Association.
