Germany and Liechtenstein are close to an agreement on a first-ever double tax agreement, Liechtenstein's government says. In a statement on a Berlin meeting between German Finance Minister Wolfgang Schauble and Liechtenstein Prime Minister Klaus Tschutscher, Liechtenstein authorities say the ministers “noted that broad agreement on content has already been achieved in the negotiations on a double taxation treaty, and they aim to conclude the negotiations by the end of the year.”
