David Grant is a Partner in the Washington, D.C., office of Baker & Hostetler LLP and is the national leader of the firm's Employment and Labor Group. Mr. Grant represents clients in wage and hour matters and investigations, unfair labor practice charges and hearings, collective bargaining negotiations, litigation, mediation, and arbitration. He is a frequent speaker on wage and hour and other employment law issues.

Mr. Grant earned his A.B., summa cum laude, from Bowdoin College and his J.D. from the Georgetown University Law Center.

He is the co-author of Bloomberg BNA Corporate Practice Portfolio Series No. 41-4th, Practices and Procedures Before the National Labor Relations Board.  This portfolio volume analyzes the processes by which employees secure union representation and enforce rights granted by the National Labor Relations Act.  The Detailed Analysis section of the portfolio examines representation proceedings in depth, including discussions of certification petitions, election campaigns and procedures, post-election hearings, and certification proceedings.  In addition, it discusses unfair labor practice proceedings, highlighting the filing of charges and the subsequent filing of the complaint by the NLRB general counsel, unfair labor practice hearings, and the post-hearing and enforcement processes.
