Cora R. Holt is an Associate in the Washington, D.C., office of Finnegan, Henderson, Farabow, Garrett & Dunner, LLP, where she focuses her practice on patent litigation and client counseling, primarily in the pharmaceutical and biotechnology areas. Ms. Holt has been involved in a variety of matters before U.S. district courts, including litigations involving therapeutic antibody technologies. Ms. Holt's litigation experience spans pre-filing investigation, pre-trial, discovery, motions practice, and trial. She has drafted pleadings, motions, and briefs, and has prepared witnesses for depositions and trial. In addition to her litigation practice, Ms. Holt devotes time to pro bono matters and writes for publications in the pharmaceutical and biotechnology areas of patent law.

Prior to joining Finnegan, Ms. Holt served as an intern for the Honorable Chief Judge W. Conley in the U.S. District Court for the Western District of Wisconsin. She also provided legal services to start-up companies as a member of the Law & Entrepreneurship Clinic of the University of Wisconsin Law School. Ms. Holt's technical experience is in the area of biochemistry. While earning her undergraduate degree, she worked in a biochemistry lab at the University of Wisconsin-Madison and traveled to Uganda to study infectious diseases, malnutrition, and other health concerns.

Ms. Holt received her B.S. from the University of Wisconsin and her J.D. from the University of Wisconsin Law School.

She is a co-author of the 2013 Supplement to the Bloomberg BNA treatise Biotechnology and the Federal Circuit.
