Laura A Lydigsen is a partner at Brinks Gilson & Lione in Chicago where she focuses her practice on Hatch-Waxman litigation and appellate practice. Laura currently serves as chair of the firm’s Appellate Practice Group, through which she enjoys working on Federal Circuit appeals across a broad range of technologies. Before joining Brinks, Laura served as a law clerk to the Honorable Alvin A. Schall of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit and the Honorable Ruben Castillo of the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Illinois. She earned her J.D. from Washington University in St. Louis and her A.B. from Wellesley College with a double major in Biological Sciences and French Cultural Studies.

She is the author of the Bloomberg BNA treatise Patents and the Federal Circuit.
