House Budget Committee Tees Up Hearing on Tax Law

The House Budget Committee is planning a Feb. 27 hearing on the 2017 tax law and its effect on the budget and families, according to two aides.

• The hearing is part of an effort by the Democratic majority in the House to refocus attention on the new tax law, as they push to change some of its provisions
