The House passes legislation by a vote of 314-112 to repeal new Form 1099 information rules deemed burdensome by businesses of all sizes, but a disagreement with the Senate over how to pay for the measure could delay the emergence of a bicameral accord. Lawmakers of both parties in both chambers agree that the new rules requiring businesses and landlords to issue a Form 1099 for payments to corporations for goods and services that exceed $600 per year to each vendor need to go.
