Brian R. Iverson is an Associate in the Washington, D.C., office of Bass, Berry & Sims PLC, where he focuses on complex commercial litigation, with a special emphasis on financial services and intellectual property litigation. As co-assistant practice leader of the firm's Intellectual Property Litigation Practice Group, Mr. Iverson represents companies on both sides of patent infringement claims through complex litigation and dispute resolution. 

In addition, Mr. Iverson represents and counsels financial institutions in a broad range of disputes, including loan defaults, online account hacking disputes, and consumer overdraft fee class actions. In addition to his representation in high-stakes litigation, Mr. Iverson is a member of the firm’s Pro Bono Committee, assumes individual pro bono cases himself and coordinates the firm’s participation in the Homeless Experience Legal Protection (HELP) program and the Veterans Consortium.

He received his B.B.A. from Belmont University and his J.D. from Pepperdine University School of Law, where he graduated magna cum laude and Order of the Coif.
