Julia Jacobson is a partner in the Boston office of K&L Gates LLP. Julia’s practice focuses on advertising, marketing and promotions, data
privacy and protection, and licensing. She has significant experience counseling clients in the technology and consumer products goods industries. She regularly advises clients on data privacy, security, transfer, and acquisition, as well as the design and development of internal and externally-facing privacy-sensitive policies for collection and use of personal data, incident response, information governance, and vendor management. She has extensive experience drafting and negotiating joint development, SaaS, end-user, enterprise, hosting, mobile application, and other technology-centric agreements. She received her B.A. from the University of Michigan and her J.D. and LL.M. from the Boston University School of Law.
