Joanne Su is a partner in the transfer pricing team in Ernst & Young's member firm in China.
Joanne has been a tax/transfer pricing adviser in China (to present), UK and Singapore since 1994 and was trained as a chartered accountant in the UK, where she worked as an international tax and transfer pricing adviser.
Being in China since 2002, Joanne has spent a significant portion of her time leading Advance Pricing Arrangement (APA) projects and transfer pricing disputes, including dispute management for various national transfer pricing audit cases.
Joanne has extensive practical experience in Chinese transfer pricing and acts as adviser to more than a dozen Global and US Fortune 500 companies, assisting them in China-wide transfer pricing dispute resolution, planning and documentation work for their Chinese affiliates. As a member of the Global Transfer Pricing and Tax Effective Supply Chain Management (TESCM) networks, Joanne works closely with other members around the world to provide consistent advice that may have bearing on the global transfer pricing policies of multinational corporations.
Joanne serves inbound and outbound clients across a wide range of industries including consumer electronics, pharmaceutical, automotive, heavy equipment, power & automation, oil & gas, E-commerce, advertising, consumer care, real estate, telecommunication and financial services industries.
Joanne is a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales. Joanne is a seasoned speaker in transfer pricing forums and has fostered strong government relationships across the country. She has also participated in round table discussions organized by the State Administration of Taxation and local tax bureaus across the country.
