David Keyko is a partner with Pillsbury Winthrop Shaw Pittman LLP's in the New York office in the litigation department. His practice has focused on major, complex litigation, including cases involving allegations of fraud, antitrust violations, ethics issues and trusts and estates matters. He has lectured and written widely on securities, antitrust, legal ethics and general litigation topics, and he maintains an active pro bono practice.  He received his B.A. (magna cum laude), from Yale University  and his J.D. (cum laude), from New York University School of Law.  He is a member of the New York Bar. 

 

He is co-author of Bloomberg BNA Corporate Practice Portfolio Series No. 87-2nd, Legal Ethics for In-House Corporate Counsel.  This portfolio volume discusses the ethical issues that can arise in a variety of situations that inside counsel commonly must deal with, such as multijurisdictional practice, internal investigations, negotiations, outsourcing and supervising nonlawyers as well as the responsibility of inside counsel to undertake pro bono work. It also discusses indemnification of inside counsel by the corporation and insurance.
