Robert Klonoff is the Jordan D. Schnitzer Professor of Law at the Lewis & Clark Law School, and the dean of Lewis & Clark Law School from 2007 to 2014.


Professor Klonoff serves as a member of the United States Judicial Conference Advisory Committee on Civil Rules (appointed by Chief Justice John G. Roberts, Jr., in 2011; reappointed for second three-year term in May 2014).  He previously served as an Associate Reporter for the American Law Institute’s project, Principles of the Law of Aggregate Litigation (West 2010). 


He is the co-author of a leading textbook on class actions and the author of numerous articles on the subject.  He has served as an attorney in more than 100 class action cases
