Mark S. Lahive is a Partner in the Century City office of Gibson, Dunn & Crutcher, where he is a member of the firm's Mergers and Acquisitions, Media, Entertainment & Technology and Private Equity practice groups. Mr. Lahive’s practice includes advising public and private companies, as well as private equity groups and investment banks, on mergers and acquisitions and capital markets transactions. He also advises companies and boards of directors on a variety of corporate governance matters.

Mr. Lahive has served on the board of directors of the California Academic Decathlon and as an advisor to the Governor’s Council on Physical Fitness and Sports.

Mr. Lahive received a B.A. degree from Middlebury College and earned his J.D., with honors, from Rutgers Law School-Newark.

Mr. Lahive is co-author of Bloomberg BNA Securities Practice Portfolio Series No. 342, Securities Issues in Mergers & Acquisitions.
