Sept. 15—The monthly minimum wage in Latvia would increase to 380 euros ($427) from 370 euros ($416) Jan. 1, 2017, under draft regulation submitted Sept. 1 by the Ministry of Welfare.

The draft legislation is under discussion. After reaching a final agreement, the measure would be submitted to the Cabinet of Ministers for approval, a senior officer for Latvia's Ministry of Welfare told Bloomberg BNA on Sept. 15.
