Senior Manager
Ms. Evans is a Senior Manager at KPMG's Washington National Tax Practice in Washington, D.C. Her practice focuses on drafting and reviewing memoranda and articles that analyze state tax implications of transactions and recent developments, along with designing and developing training for state and local tax professionals. She has published numerous articles and also is responsible for developing and updating the state and local tax section of Taxation of Financial Institutions and a significant amount of her time is spent addressing issues relating to partnerships and alternative investments. She has been an adjunct professor at Georgetown University Law Center (GULC) since 1993 and served as faculty advisor for the State and Local Tax Advisor from 1998 to 2007. She currently serves on the GULC SALT Certificate Advisory Board. She holds a Master of Laws in Taxation from the Georgetown University Law Center, a Juris Doctor and Bachelor of Business in Accounting from Oklahoma City University.
