Ossai Miazad is a Partner and Co-Chair of Outten & Golden LLP's Discrimination and Retaliation Practice Group. Ms. Miazad is also active in the firm's Class & Collective Action Practice Group and Family Responsibilities and Disability Discrimination Practice Group. She represents employees in class action discrimination and wage and hour cases, as well as individual litigation and negotiation in all areas of employment law, including cases involving discrimination, harassment, and retaliation; executive and professional contracts and compensation. She has experience litigating before federal and state courts and FINRA arbitration panels.

Ms. Miazad co-chairs the ABA’s Subcommittee on the Uniformed Services Employment and Reemployment Rights Act (USERRA). She also serves on the New York City Bar Association’s Committee on Civil Rights and is a member of the National Employment Lawyers Association (NELA) and NELA’s New York affiliate (NELA/NY).

Ms. Miazad regularly lectures and publishes on employment issues. She is the Co-Editor-in-Chief of "The Uniformed Services Employment and Reemployment Rights Act," published by the American Bar Association’s (ABA) Section of Labor and Employment Law.

Ms. Miazad earned her B.A. from Vassar College and her J.D. from the American University, Washington College of Law.

She is an Editor-in-Chief of the ABA/Bloomberg BNA treatise The Uniformed Services Employment and Reemployment Rights Act.
