Jan. 6— The minimum wage for both skilled and unskilled workers in Hungary increased Jan. 1, 2016, according to a government decree published Dec. 29 in the official government gazette.

As of Jan. 1, 2016, the minimum wage in Hungary for full-time unskilled employees is 111,000 forint ($382) per month, 25,550 forint ($88) per week, 5,110 forint ($17) per day or 639 forint ($2.20) per hour.

For full time employees working in skilled positions or positions that require an advanced degree, the minimum wage is 129,000 forint ($444) per month, 29,690 forint ($102) per week, 5,940 forint ($20) per day or 742 forint ($2.55) per hour.
