SESSION RECAP: New Frontiers in Sustainable Value Creation
November 12, 2015

8:30 am - 12:40 pm

Today, customers and investors examine companies with greater sophistication than ever before, and one of the new variables they consider is sustainability. They ask, for instance: How sustainable are companies’ external supply chains, including the natural resources they depend upon? How sustainable are companies’ internal practices, such as talent recruitment and retention? As more and more stakeholders seek answers to these kinds of questions, companies must be able to demonstrate that the value they create is in fact sustainable for the long-term.

The sessions on Day Two focused on the concept of “corporate social opportunity,” and how new sustainable business strategies are driving significant changes in sourcing, management metrics, and corporate performance.
