Feb. 16—Four-weekly and monthly Pay As You Earn deduction tables for salaries earned from April 1, 2016 and March 31, 2017, were released by the New Zealand Inland Revenue, according to an update on the Inland Revenue website.

Under the new payroll deduction tables, the maximum earnings on which the Accident Compensation Corporation levy is charged increased to NZ$122,063 ($80,280) from NZ$120,070 ($78,970) while the earners' levy deduction decreased to NZ$1.39 ($0.91) per NZ$100 ($65.77) of earnings from NZ$1.45 ($0.95).
