Mr. Prescott is a Director of Business Law at Downs Rachin Martin PLLC's Burlington office. He leads the firm's tax practice and provides tax advice and planning to clients on a wide range of issues, including business formation; complex stock and asset acquisitions and dispositions; executive compensation utilizing nonqualified deferred compensation and equity incentive arrangements; and structured financing transactions using federal New Markets, Historic and Solar Energy Tax Credits. Roger also advises clients in connection with a variety of state and local tax matters, including tax audits, appeals and structuring business activities to minimize state tax liabilities. He is a member of the Massachusetts, New York, and Vermont state bars.
