Senate Finance Committee Chairman Baucus announces he will hold his third hearing of the year on tax reform when Congress returns from the Thanksgiving break. Baucus, who announces the hearing will be held Dec. 2, says he wants to reform the tax system to eliminate the need for the annual tax extenders bill and the alternative minimum tax patch but he has not committed to trying to make tax reform a priority for the committee in the 112th Congress.
