Sid Silhan, a National Tax Partner in Ernst & Young’s Indirect State and Local Tax Practice, resides in their Atlanta office. Sid is also the National Leader of Ernst & Young’s State Lookback Review practice, as well as the Southeast Area Director of Income Franchise Tax. Sid brings a broad focus to client issues due to his extensive years of experience in various SALT practice areas.
     Prior to joining EY in May of 2012, Sid was a partner with PWC for more than 12 years. Sid has nearly 23 years of experience specializing in corporate and state structuring, merger and acquisition assistance and planning, as well as on-going controversy, tax structuring, refund analysis, consulting and compliance issues.
     Sid has provided state tax consulting services to a wide range of businesses, specifically those engaged in manufacturing, distribution, transportation, financial services, healthcare and hospitality, with specialized focus in Inbound Taxpayers.
