Simpson Thacher had the most $10 billion plus mega deals in the first half of 2016, with clients announcing six deals totaling $104.4 billion.
In terms of deal volume, Cravath is the first half of 2016 leader for announced mega deals, with their clients totaling $152.2 billion from 3 deals.
For deals coming in between $1 billion and $10 billion, Skadden Arps led the pack, advising on 19 announced deals for $61.6 billion.
Latham & Watkins advised on 27 deals in the $100 million to $1 billion transaction range, totaling $11.6 billion.
