Sirirasi Gobpradit has practiced in the areas of corporate law and tax law since 2007. She has assisted many clients from various industries in dealing with business structure planning, tax planning, compliance and audits, including general legal and tax advice. Siri is currently an Associate with Baker & McKenzie in Thailand. Prior to joining Baker & McKenzie in 2013, Siri was an Associate with Mayer Brown where she focused on all aspects of corporate law including business structure planning, mergers & acquisitions, tax planning, and general commercial matters.
In her current practice, Siri’s focus is on advising on general direct and indirect tax implications (corporate income tax, personal income tax, withholding tax, value-added tax, specific business tax, and stamp duty) in relation to investment and business operations in Thailand; advising on local tax implications related to mergers & acquisitions, business transfers, business restructuring, debt restructuring, employment, real estate projects, inbound and outbound investments, project finance, dissolution and liquidation of business, and other general tax planning issues; and advising on tax implications of cross-border transactions with regards to the treaties on the avoidance of taxation, transfer pricing, and mutual agreement procedure (MAP). She also conducts tax due diligence and advises clients on dispute settlements and litigation with regard to taxation cases encompassing tax audits and investigations.
