Survey of Corporate Tax Departments 2017

In the first half of 2017, Bloomberg Tax surveyed more than 250 tax professionals who work at the manager level or above for their corporate tax departments. Among other questions, respondents were asked about the biggest challenges they expect to face and the major changes they anticipate to make in the coming months.

The most fundamental challenge facing corporate tax departments is the potential overhaul of the U.S. tax code, according to a Bloomberg BNA survey of tax executives at public and private corporations nationwide. Vying for their attention are international tax compliance concerns such as country-by-country reporting and transfer pricing.
