Susan J. Daley is a partner at Perkins Coie with more than 20 years experience in the areas of executive compensation, securities, and employee benefits. She is currently president of the Chicago Chapter of the National Association of Stock Plan Professionals and chair of the Federal Securities Law Subcommittee of the Employee Benefits Committee of the American Bar Association Section of Taxation. She is a former chair of the Illinois State Bar Association Employee Benefits Section Council, the Chicago Bar Association Employee Benefits Committee and the Chicago Bar Association Federal Taxation Committee. Daley is a frequent author and speaker on securities, executive compensation, and employee benefits issues. She is also a member of the International Pension & Employee Benefits Lawyers Association, National Center for Employee Stock Ownership, Midwest Benefits Counsel and WEB. Daley is a co-author of Bloomberg BNA Compensation Planning Portfolio 362: "Securities Law Aspects of Employee Benefit Plans." She received her B.A. summa cum laude from the University of Connecticut and her J.D. from Harvard Law School. She is admitted to practice in Illinois.
