Akemi Suzuki is a partner of the Tokyo office of Nagashima, Ohno & Tsunematsu. She has 18 years of experience practicing corporate law and data protection regulations. Ms. Suzuki advises Japanese and foreign companies in a variety of industries, including Internet, technology, media, communications, and consumer products. She advises extensively on technology and data protection issues in Japan, U.S. and EU, particularly in relation to data compliance, privacy and data protection manuals, data audits, and data breaches. Ms. Suzuki received an LL.B. from Keio University in 1999 and an LL.M. from Stanford Law School in 2006. She is admitted to bar in Japan and the State of New York.
