Felicia Y. Sze is Partner at Athene Law, LLP. Ms. Sze is a recognized expert in Medicaid and Medicare reimbursement matters. She advises healthcare providers regarding regulatory compliance and in disputes with managed care entities and government payers.
Ms. Sze has also represented healthcare providers on public policy issues, including challenges to the validity of rate reductions or regulations, or drafting proposed legislation or rulemaking comments. Ms. Sze also actively defends providers against administrative actions.
After graduating from the University of California at Los Angeles, Ms. Sze served as a Presidential Management Intern with the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services.
Ms. Sze earned her B.A. from the University of California at Berkeley, her M.P.H. from the University of California at Los Angeles, and her J.D. from the University of California Berkeley, School of Law.
She is the co-author of the Bloomberg BNA Health Law & Business Portfolio Series No. 1300, Payments for Hospital Services Under Medicare Parts A and B.
