Bloomberg BNA air pollution reporter Patrick Ambrosio spoke on C-SPAN this week about House legislation that would alter the way coal refuse power plants are regulated under the EPA's Cross-State Air Pollution Rule and Mercury and Air Toxics Standards.
The House passed the SENSE Act on Tuesday in a 231-183 vote. Patrick reports that the measure faces an uphill battle to becoming a law. It faces opposition from Democrats. Advisers to President Obama would also recommend a veto to the legislation, according to a White House statement.
Before all the action this week, Patrick explained the SENSE Act.
