This includes three proposed rules, which would govern how the agency oversees chemicals in commerce and comes in response to mandates in Toxic Substances Control Act amendments of 2016.

Then there are 10 assessments involving the scope of chemical risk. Four other rules are on the way. Three deal with solvents in the market place for a long time, trichloroethylene, methylene chloride and n-methylpyrrolidone.

The fourth proposed rule addresses new uses of a few chemicals.
