Ms. Abel is a management analyst with the Montana Department of Revenue's Helena field office. Her practice focuses on research and analysis of state and federal tax laws for program and policy development projects within the Individual and Withholding Tax Bureau. She also assists department leadership during the legislative process, providing technical comments and testimony on proposed state tax bills and is a primary point of contact with internal and external customers providing technical assistance related to individual income tax and pass-through entity issues and policies. She previously spent eight years as an auditor and supervisor in the department's Pass-Through Unit. She serves as the chair of the Partnership Work Group, a subcommittee of the Multistate Tax Commission's Uniformity Committee. She holds a Bachelor of Science from Montana State University. She is a member of the Montana Society of Certified Public Accountants.
