Shawn Tuma is a Partner at Spencer Fane in Plano, Texas, where he represents a wide range of clients, from small to midsize companies to Fortune 100 companies, across the United States and globally in dealing with cybersecurity, data privacy, data breach and incident response, regulatory compliance, computer fraud related legal issues, and cyber-related litigation. He also serves as General Counsel and Board Member of the Cyber Future Foundation, on the Policy Council for the National Technology Security Coalition, Cybersecurity Task Force for the Intelligent Transportation Society of America, on the Advisory Board of the University of North Texas Cyber Forensics Lab, as an Officer for the Computer & Technology Section of the State Bar of Texas, and on the Privacy and Data Security Committee of the State Bar of Texas.
