Turkey to Increase Minimum Wage for 2017

The Turkish monthly minimum wage will increase to 1,777.50 liras ($503.60) from 1,647 liras ($466.63) Jan. 1, 2017, and will be effective until Dec. 31, 2017, the Turkish Minster for Labor and Social Security said Dec. 29.

The net monthly minimum wage after taxes and deductions is to rise to 1,404.06 liras ($397.84) per month from 1300.99 liras ($368.64).
