Benesch announced that W. Eric Baisden and Joe Yonadi have joined the firm in Cleveland as partners. Baisden co-chairs the labor and employment practice group, and Yonadi belongs to the executive compensation and benefits practice group.
Bone McAllester Norton in Nashville, Tenn., recently welcomed W. Justin Adams as an attorney. He handles employment, corporate and health-care matters.
Labor and employment lawyer Vanessa M. Kelly has joined the Princeton, N.J., office of Clark Hill as senior counsel.
Management-side worklaw firm Constangy, Brooks, Smith & Prophete has added Kimberly Talley as a partner in its Century City, Calif., office. Sarah Kroll-Rosenbaum also joined the firm in Century City as senior counsel. Her practice focuses on complex employment litigation in the federal courts.
Cronus Law in Phoenix has added Julia Acken as a staff attorney focusing on labor and employment issues.
Penny Phillips , an attorney at Felhaber Larson in Minneapolis, has been accepted as a fellow in the College of Labor and Employment Lawyers.
James Nicholas and Donald Schroeder joined the Boston office of Foley & Lardner as partners in the labor and employment practice. In addition, Erin Horton joined the Boston office as an associate in that practice, and Jill Collins joined as a labor and employment associate in Washington.
Management-side labor and employment law firm FordHarrison has added Allan Bahn as a partner in its New York office. Bahn will co-chair FordHarrison's construction practice group.
Greg Grisham , a partner in FordHarrison's Nashville office, has been elected a 2016 fellow of the College of Labor and Employment Lawyers.
Employment lawyer Daniel A. Krawiec in Fort Lauderdale, Fla., has been elected partner at Hinshaw & Culbertson. Ibi Davis-Ossuetta, who represents self-insured employers and insurance companies in workers’ compensation cases, has been named partner in Hinshaw's Los Angeles office.
Sarah A. Robison has joined Honigman Miller Schwartz and Cohn as an associate in Chicago. She belongs to the firm's business immigration practice group.
Avi Meyerstein and Erik Dullea have joined Husch Blackwell in Washington. Much of Meyerstein's practice involves workplace safety and health matters, and Dullea's practice focuses on regulatory compliance with an emphasis on mining and transportation industries and government contractors. They will work in the firm's technology, manufacturing and transportation group.
Nickolas G. Spiliotis has joined K&L Gates as a partner in Houston. Spiliotis advises employers in the energy, hospitality, maritime and manufacturing industries on employment and workplace safety issues.
Littler Mendelson has added Stephan C. Swinkels as a shareholder in its international employment and labor law practice. Swinkels, who speaks French, Dutch, English and German, will travel extensively while working from a home office in the Netherlands, a Littler spokeswoman told Bloomberg BNA. Swinkels belongs to the European Employment Lawyers Association and the Dutch and International Bar Associations.
Mark A. Hipple has joined McNees Wallace & Nurick in Harrisburg, Pa., where he will work in the firm’s labor and employment practice group.
Sean R. Marshall has been named the regional attorney for Region 5 of the National Labor Relations Board in Baltimore, Md.
Brian Arbetter , an international employment and labor lawyer, has joined Norton Rose Fulbright as a partner in the firm's New York office. Lisa Cabel has joined the Toronto office of Norton Rose Fulbright as a partner in the employment and labor law group.
Robinson & Cole has welcomed George P. Kostaskos as a labor and employment counsel in Boston and Devin M. Karas as an employee benefits and compensation associate in Hartford, Conn.
Kelly Knudson and Suzanna Yeghiazarians have joined Seyfarth Shaw as labor and employment counsel in San Francisco. Philip Storm joined the firm as senior counsel in Chicago, where he will work in the labor, employment and internal investigations practices.
Taylor English Duma hired Diana Sarju Kim as counsel for its employment and labor relations group in Atlanta. Kim focuses her practice on representing employers in litigation involving claims of discrimination and retaliation.
Vedder Price hired labor and employment litigator Blythe Lovinger as a partner in New York.
