DLA Piper has added Mary Dollarhide as a partner in the firm’s employment practice in San Diego.

Denise Trani-Morris has joined labor and employment law firm Jackson Lewis as a principal in San Francisco.

Latham & Watkins has elected counsel Holly M. Bauer in San Diego and counsel Maj Vaseghi in Menlo Park, Calif., to the partnership. Both practice in the tax department’s benefits, compensation and employment practice.

Betsy Davis has joined LeClairRyan in Richmond, Va., as a shareholder on the labor and employment and business litigation teams.

Manatt, Phelps & Phillips has added employment litigator Deborah Kellyin Washington as a partner in the employment and labor practice.

Labor and employment law firm Ogletree Deakins has opened an office in Paris with a team of 11 attorneys and legal staff, including Karine Audouze and Jean-Marc Albiol, who have joined the firm as partners.

Seth Harris, who served as acting and deputy labor secretary during the Obama administration, has opened Seth Harris Law, a solo law practice in Washington specializing in labor, employment and retirement law and policy.

Seyfarth Shaw is opening an office in Hong Kong, where Julia Gorham will lead the employment law team.

Stites & Harbison has added Christine Tenley as a member and Nina Maja Bergmar as an attorney in the firm’s employment law service group in Atlanta.

In memoriam: Thomas S. Williamson Jr., age 70, who had served as solicitor for the Labor Department and as head of the employment practice group at Covington & Burling in Washington.
