Butzel Long has added Michael R. Griffie as an associate. Griffie specializes in labor and employment law and is based in Detroit.

Jennifer Cook has joined Clark Hill in Washington as senior counsel. Cook represents individuals and businesses in immigration proceedings related to employment eligibility and employment-based visa petitions.

Labor and employment firm Fisher Phillips has welcomed Kevin J. Burns as an associate in its Denver office. Burns is a member of the firm’s employee defection and trade secrets practice group.

Goldberg Segalla has added Robert S. Smith as an associate in its workers’ compensation practice group in Albany, N.Y.

Kami M. Hoskins has joined Gordon & Rees as a partner in Phoenix, where she will lead the employment practice group.

Workplace law firm Jackson Lewis has elevated James F. Botana to managing principal in its Chicago office, and employment litigator Jennifer Schwartz has returned to the firm as a principal in Miami. In addition, Jackson Lewis added Dean Falavolito as a principal in Pittsburgh.

Kasowitz, Benson, Torres & Friedman promoted Jessica T. Rosenberg to partner. Rosenberg, who works in the firm's New York office, focuses her practice on employment-related litigation.

Lindner & Marsack , a management-side labor and employment law firm in Milwaukee, has added Joseph Birdsall as an associate. Birdsall focuses on worker's compensation defense.

Littler Mendelson , a management-side labor and employment law firm, has named Alan McLaughlin as the managing shareholder of its Denver office. McLaughlin will continue to oversee the firm’s Indianapolis office, where he has been managing shareholder since 2012. Littler also named Jody Boquist to be the managing shareholder of its Chicago office and added Ines Monte as special counsel in Chicago.

Partners Becky DeCook and Stephanie Loughner have been named co-chairs of the employment group at Moye White in Denver.

J. Marc Fosse has been elected a shareholder at Trucker Huss, a San Francisco law firm that focuses on employee benefits. Fosse specializes in tax and accounting issues related to executive and equity compensation arrangements. Trucker Huss also promoted T. Katuri Kaye and Angel L. Garrett to special counsel status and hired Dylan D. Rudolph as an associate.

Thomas W. Foley has joined Whitfield & Eddy as a member in Des Moines, Iowa. He will practice in the firm’s labor and employment and litigation groups.
