Akin Gump elected labor and employment lawyer Brian Glenn Patterson, who works from the firm’s Houston and Dallas offices, to partnership.

Management-side labor and employment law firm Fisher Phillips elected 14 new partners. They are Travis Vance in Charlotte, N.C.; George Reeves in Columbia, S.C.; Sam Lillard in Columbus, Ohio; Candice Pinares-Baez in Fort Lauderdale, Fla.; Chris Ahearn, Colin Calvert, and Usama Kahf in Irvine, Calif.; Melody Rayl in Kansas City, Mo. ; Sarina Saluja and Nathan Okelberry in Los Angeles; Mark Gomsak in Louisville, Ky.; Melissa Osipoff in New York; David Amaya in San Diego; and Annie Lau in San Francisco.

Jones Day promoted the following lawyers to partnership: employee benefits and executive compensation lawyer Joanne S. Wallace in Chicago and labor and employment lawyers Thomas R. Chiavetta Jr. in Washington; Mark E. Earnest in Irvine, Calif.; and Kristina A. Yost in New York.

Obermayer Rebmann Maxwell & Hippel welcomed Dove A. E. Burns and Stacey L. Pitcher as partners in its labor and employment law group. Burns brings her New York and Connecticut practices to Obermayer’s New York office and a new office in Hartford, Conn. Pitcher will practice from the Hartford office.

Worklaw firm Ogletree Deakins elevated 11 attorneys to the shareholder position. They are Bonnie Puckett and Deepa Subramanian in Atlanta; Lisa Karen Atkins in Birmingham, Ala.; Aimee Dreiss in Houston; Matthew Kelley in Indianapolis; Daniel Adlong and Patricia Matias in Costa Mesa, Calif.; Ursula Kienbaum in Portland, Ore.; Jeanne Floyd in Richmond, Va.; Tim Johnson in San Diego; and Dee Anna Hays in Tampa, Fla.

Sidley Austin appointed Katherine Roberts in Los Angeles to partnership. She belongs to the labor, employment, and immigration group.

Winston & Strawn promoted employee benefit and executive compensation lawyer Brian Benko in Washington to partnership status.
